A Paint Color Home Tour
A huge thanks to Behr for sponsoring this post! My favorable opinion of beautiful, high-quality paint is 100% my own. 🙂 For more information, see my disclosures here.
Y’all, choosing paint colors is hard! I mean, there are so many colors out there to choose from… where do you even start?!
When we first moved into our current house, I picked out a color I thought was popular at the time and painted our entire house that one color– if everyone else liked it I would too, right? It was a dark-ish tan, and while I did actually like it at first, I soon realized that it made our home, which already had limited light, feel pretty cave-like.
{The Cave, aka our living room not long after we moved into our house}
So a little over a year ago we started re-painting. We painted and painted and painted some more and, thanks to my friends at Behr, have finally managed to lighten and brighten just about every room in the house– yippee! I am delighted to be on the Behr DIY Expert team for a second year, so to kick things off, I thought it would be helpful to write a post that lists alllllllll of our paint colors in one place. It’s a paint color home tour! Here we go!
Entry
Confession: This space has already been repainted (in Behr Marquee Curio MQ3-22, to be exact!) since these photos were taken, but it is such a hot mess because of our ongoing kitchen reno that I couldn’t take new pictures quite yet. I’ll come back and update the post when we get everything squared away. 🙂

Main Living Space
Our dining room, living room, and the Cs’ toy area are all in one big room, so the wall color is the same throughout.

Master Bedroom
Our master bedroom is one of the more recent rooms to go from dark to light, and we are loving the changes!

Guest Bath
The Cs’ bathroom sat, dull, boring, and off-white, for the first 6-ish years that we lived in our house. It finally got some new paint and accessories earlier this year and is looking much, much better!
Walls: Behr Premium Plus Dreamscape Gray T15-6 | Trim: Behr Premium Plus Ultra White
The Cs’ Room
Our sweet little guys share a room and they wouldn’t have it any other way! There are more bright colors in this space than in any other room of the house, but it is perfect for them and their big, adorable personalities!
Walls: Behr Marquee Granite Dust MQ3-6
Dresser: Behr Premium Plus Ultra White + Behr Premium Plus Pumpkin Patch S-H-250
Craft Table: Behr Premium Plus Ultra White + Behr Premium Plus Rolling Hills S-H-400 + Chalkboard Paint | Chairs: Behr Premium Plus Jazz Blue S-G-560 + Behr Premium Plus Pumpkin Patch S-H-250
My Office
This is the one room in the house where I could be a little more girly! It’s my little getaway— no boys allowed! 😉 The colors perfectly fit my personality and give me a cozy place to write and create.
Walls: Behr Premium Plus Gentle Rain 790E-2 | Chair: Behr Premium Plus Swan Sea 500F-4
Pegboard: Behr Premium Plus Rosy Lavender 680E-3
So that’s the grand tour! I’m always amazed at how a little gallon of paint can completely change the look of a space. It certainly has made a huge difference in our home!

I love mint!! The table in the entry is adorable! And your office is still and always perfection to me. That chair is a perfect combination. Beautiful!
I love how bright and fresh your home is – it’s just so happy! Love following along with your projects.
It’s so wonderful to see what a difference paint color can make! Definitely seems to open up the air and promote happiness and creativity. And who wouldn’t want that in their home? Beautiful!
Abby,
I just love the blue door and my fave wall color in your tour is Silver City. I love how all the colors transition nicely from room to room. It’s not a cave anymore!

Your home is absolutely gorgeous Abby and I love how the colors all work so well together! I feel a sense of calm just by looking at them 🙂
I have to tell you after seeing all your amazing Behr Marquee paint colors and hearing about the results I decided to try it. I put Behr Marquee Half Sea Fog in my bedroom and I absolutely LOVE it! It covered so well with one coat even though I was painting over a darker color. Thanks for sharing all these wonderful ideas!
Your home is looking so fresh and beautiful. My favorite is that chevron rug. I so wanted to have one. The silver city paint color looks so warm! Love it so much!
