Free Printable Stay-at-Home Binder
This free printable Stay-at-Home Binder helps people be more organized and intentional with their time at home!
How are you holding up, friend? It has been quite a week, right?!
If you are reading this at a later date, this post was published as we were in the midst of the coronavirus / COVID-19 pandemic. Much of the world is quarantined or practicing social distancing, keeping mostly to our homes and trying to limit social interactions to prevent the spread of the virus.
As I’ve been hunkered down at home with Donnie and the boys, I have been trying to come up with tools that I hope will be helpful for people as they ride out the craziness.
I came up with the idea of a “Stay-At-Home Binder,” a small collection of free printables to help people plan and be intentional about their time at home.
From planning out your days and months, coming up with fun activities, or finding ways to positively impact others during this challenging time, this fun binder has it all!

You can get a list of my favorite binders and binder supplies in this post.
Stay-at-Home Binder Cover
Every binder needs a pretty cover, and this one is no exception! This simple sheet includes a spot for your name. It can be popped into the front of the binder you choose to use.
Bucket Lists
I’m always amazed at how making a simple list can help me accomplish more. I’ve included two different “bucket lists” in the Stay-at-Home Binder.
The first bucket list just includes simple lines with check boxes to mark off each item as it is completed.
The second bucket list breaks down activities by category– to do, to read, to make, and to watch.
Choose the one that makes the most sense for your household and get brainstorming! (Or feel free to use both!)
Daily Schedule
When we’re stuck at home day after day, having a daily schedule or routine can be very helpful! This simple printable helps you plan out your day by the hour.
You can use this printable to create one routine that you’ll follow day after day. You could also print multiple copies and create a new schedule each day.
Feel free to use this page as is or laminate it and use a dry erase marker to make schedule changes daily.
2-Page Monthly Calendar
Recently I’ve had several requests for a calendar that is a two-page spread with lots of room to plan, so I thought I would include one in this binder!
The calendar is undated, so it can be used for any month. Simply fill out the month at the top of the page and add numbers to the appropriate boxes. Then get planning!
There is also a column for notes to keep track of ideas or important to-dos.
Stay-at-Home Binder Check In Page
As we’re separated from one another, there will inevitably be people that we want to make sure we contact. This list can help us keep track of everyone to whom we want to reach out.
There is room to list your contacts’ names, along with the date(s) you’ve contacted them and any important notes about your interaction.
Along with close friends and family members, consider checking in on elderly people you know, single parents, friends who are prone to anxiety and depression, people living alone, and others who may be lonely or at-risk.
Acts of Kindness Calendars
Even though we are keeping our distance for health and safety purposes, we can still show kindness to others, both friends and strangers!
I’ve included two acts of kindness calendars in this binder. One is pre-filled with a month full of ideas. There is also a blank version where you can come up with your own acts of kindness!
Even if you don’t complete every single day on the calendar, choosing to do just a couple of acts of kindness per week can really make a positive impact during this difficult time.
Chore Chart
In our family, we thrive on lists! Our boys have a list of tasks that they complete each day, and it is helping to keep all of us sane. (Adults can have daily tasks too– not just kids!)
This chart could include anything from physical activities to educational activities to chores, hobbies, practicing various skills, and more.
There’s something so gratifying about checking things off a list! You could even consider giving a reward once kids (or even grown-ups!) have checked off a certain number of tasks.
Reading Log
Everyone in our family is trying to get in some extra reading with all of this time at home. This printable helps track our progress.
It can be fun to look back and see how much we’ve accomplished. (And you could even make it a little competition if you wanted to too. Have prizes for the person who reads for the longest amount of time and/or greatest number of pages!)
Websites to Visit
Finally, there are so many fun sites out there giving educational tours, providing fun activities, and fostering learning in all sorts of creative ways. Use this sheet to keep track of them all so you don’t miss a thing!
I hope this Stay-at-Home Binder will be helpful for you and others in your household as we all navigate this crazy time!
It may not be ideal, but we can all do our best to make the most of it and encourage one another when we can.

Routine is so important to stop one floating off into the blur of days of bleh. This is a lovely way to add structure and interest (and a good way of documenting this strange time to be able to look back on too!)

I’ve just downloaded this (stay at home binder), and your two-week organizing plan.
I am in my 50s and have had to quit work due to a medical disability (almost a year, now). I can no longer work, drive, walk without a cane, or be on the computer for any extended period. I have felt useless, especially on the days that my husband comes home and I’ve been unable to accomplish anything. Hopefully, writing things out–having a plan–will help. While all our children have left home, I do have four furbabies (cats), so maybe I’ll schedule “activities” for them, too :D.
I actually find myself very interested in the “acts of kindness” aspect. I think it will help my frame of mind.
Thank you.
I’m so glad it was helpful for you, Jen! Love to hear that. Hope you’re having a great week! <3
