Free Printable Holiday Gift Tags
These pretty, neutral free printable holiday gift tags are the perfect way to top presents for friends, family, and loved ones this Christmas season!
‘Tis the season for gifting, and I’ve been on a little gift wrapping kick lately! I recently shared my organized gift wrap station, and today I have some pretty (and free!) printable holiday gift tags just for you!
Gift tags come in all sorts of different shapes, sizes, colors, and themes, and I wanted to make sure you had the perfect ones for your gifts this year!

I tried to keep my Christmas gift tags pretty neutral so that they could work with many different styles and colors of gift wrap. There are four different designs, so you can choose your favorite one or use a mix of all of them! They’ll be the perfect topper on all of your gifts this year!
I printed my tags on white card stock, cut them out with plain old scissors, and then either punched a hole with a hole punch and tied them to the present with ribbon or just taped them directly to the gift.
using a cutting machine to make gift tags
- While I cut out my tags by hand, you could also import these printables into your Cricut or Silhouette software. This would be called a print then cut project. Your printer will print the images, then your machine would cut them out for you.
- Using the print then cut method would be really handy if you were cutting a bunch at one time.
Four Christmas Gift Tag Styles
The traditional “Merry Christmas” tag features a beautiful script font and a simple green wreath.
I decided to leave red out of our Christmas color scheme this year, and I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it. I may be ready for red again next year, but now that our tree is up and decorated and there are some wrapped gifts underneath, I am loving how calming and soothing the neutrals and light colors are this season!
The Feliz Navidad tag makes me think of my Caleb (age 6). He was in a little performance a few weeks ago where they did that song, and he was SO into it. It was adorable!
If you or someone you’re gifting to doesn’t celebrate Christmas, I’ve also included a “Happy Holidays” version of the gift tag that may be helpful.
(Next week I’ll be back with our Christmas home tour to share more of our holiday home! I kept it pretty simple this year, but I love adding little touches that make the house feel festive!)
And finally, you can’t go wrong with a simple green wreath! Just add the names of both the giver and the recipient, and you’ll be good to go!
It’s so fun to see the joy on people’s faces when they open a gift that we’ve taken the time to choose just for them. I hope these free printable holiday gift tags will help make your gifting even easier this Christmas season!
Have the most wonderful holiday season! I hope you have a joyous time with all of the people you love most! Happy gifting!

These are adorable!!! I love the designs and I love that you came up with several different ones. They’re simple and elegant, just like most things you make. I guess they’re a big motivation for me to finally buy that colored ink cartridge for my printer! Haha I love the color scheme of your Christmas decor too. 🙂

Thanks for the gift tags! Enjoy Seattle. I used to live in Oregon and miss it so much now. The smell of fresh Christmas trees is always in the air in the PNW. I look forward to hearing how it was!

Hi Abby, thanks for the tags! And especially for the “Feliz Navidad” one. I don’t know if you had thought about it, but some of your readers are from countries in which Spanish is the official language, just like mine! So that tag will be the most useful for me and others 🙂 Have a nice week!
Yay! So glad it was helpful for you, Gaby! <3

Thank you! I bought some chocolates for our office housekeeper. She speaks very little English and I speak very little Spanish. But I wanted her to know she was appreciated. The Feliz Navidad ones are perfect!
Aw, yay! So glad they were helpful for you, Tawna! Hope 2020 is off to a great start for you!
